🌾 ABOUT THE FARM

A 6,500 ha mixed enterprise at Wellstead, WA, featuring:

• 4,300 ha of cropping — canola, wheat, barley and oats

• 7,000 breeding ewes with 4,000–5,000 lambs feedlotted annually

• Case machinery fleet equipped with Pro700, Pro1200 and Raven GPS and autosteer systems

• Brand new shearing shed and fully undercover yards

• Well-maintained infrastructure across the entire operation

🚜 ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a full-time position focused on machinery maintenance and boomspray operations, with involvement across broader farm activities:

• Maintain and service all farm machinery, vehicles and equipment

• Operate boomspray across 4,300 ha of cropping country (training provided)

• Assist with seeding, harvest and other seasonal operations as required

• Support livestock handling including lamb feedlot, shearing and general sheep work

• Contribute to general farm upkeep and day-to-day operations

• Grow into a 2IC leadership role over time

This role suits someone who takes pride in keeping machinery running right, can work independently, and is looking to build a long-term career on a quality farm.

✅ WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Mechanical trade qualification or extensive hands-on farm machinery experience

• C class licence minimum — MC licence highly regarded

• Confidence working with GPS and precision ag technology (or willingness to learn)

• A practical, get-it-done attitude with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work across both cropping and livestock operations

• Leadership potential and a genuine passion for agriculture

• Boomspray and chemical handling experience an advantage — training available for the right person
