Senior Farm Hand

This is a family-owned mixed broadacre cropping and sheep enterprise based near Dumbleyung in WA's Wheatbelt. The farm runs a modern, up-to-date machinery fleet and offers a friendly, close-knit team environment. The role is centred around truck driving and sprayer operation, with the chance to work alongside family on the sheep side of the operation during busier periods and on a casual basis throughout the year.

A full-time, long-term Farm Hand position, with the main focus on truck driving and sprayer operation, and involvement in sheep work alongside family during busier periods and casually throughout the year. Key responsibilities include: 🔸 Truck driving — carting grain and farm inputs 🔸 Operating and maintaining the spray program 🔸 Seeding and harvest operations 🔸 Operating and maintaining modern farm machinery 🔸 General farm maintenance, fencing and repairs 🔸 Basic machinery servicing and troubleshooting 🔸 Sheep husbandry and livestock handling alongside family, particularly during busier periods This role suits someone experienced, self-sufficient and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team, with a genuine focus on truck driving and spraying and the bonus of varied stock work throughout the year.

• Previous broadacre farming experience • Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs • Current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence, minimum • Willingness to obtain an MC (Multi Combination) truck licence • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
