This operation totals 4,646 hectares, with 4,343 hectares arable and under crop, growing wheat, barley and canola. The machinery fleet includes Case IH 8250 and 9250 headers, a Case 600 Steiger, a Goldacres G6 self propelled sprayer, a JCB Fastrac 8330 icon, a Goldacres 8536 tow behind sprayer, a Nyrex 46,000L chaser bin, a Volvo FH16 700 truck, an Earnshaw seed/fert bin and a JCB telehandler. The operation runs Trimble autosteer, a Cropscan protein monitor, and uses Agworld for farm record keeping.

Standard hours are 7:30am to 5:00pm, with some flexibility (occasionally running later to finish a spray tank). During seeding and harvest the aim is 12 hour days, which may extend to around 14 hours at peak times.

An immediate start is preferred, though a start in mid January or February is also fine given the upcoming harvest.

On farm housing isn't currently available, however a family home in Quairading townsite is provided as part of the role, with potential for an on farm house to become available further down the track. The home is a 4 bedroom, 1 bathroom house that can be furnished or unfurnished depending on what suits, with white goods able to be supplied. Utilities such as power, internet and water aren't included unless otherwise agreed. The home is well suited to a family, with ducted reverse cycle air conditioning, a 2 car lockable garage with storage or workbench space and direct access to the house, a reticulated garden, a large outdoor undercover area and a small garden shed, set on a 1,347m² block.

Quairading is a Wheatbelt town around 165km east of Perth, with a doctor, hospital, shops with 7 day trading, a pub, a club and a wide range of sporting clubs. The farming properties sit between around 11km and 23km from the Quairading townsite.
