A family run mixed farming business in Pingrup, Western Australia, running a 7,500 hectare dryland cropping and Merino sheep operation, looking for someone with a unique skill set to help take the business to the next level. 🌾 Broadacre cropping across 7,500 hectares, including a 120ft boomspray and 60ft air seeder 🐑 Merino sheep for wool and livestock management 🚜 Modern, well maintained mixed fleet including John Deere, Fendt, Claas and New Holland equipment 🔧 Service work conducted in a modern, well equipped workshop The owner is after a qualified heavy diesel mechanic who wants more than just a workshop job, someone keen to be part of the wider farming operation too.

You will work alongside the owner, responsible for all maintenance and upkeep of farm machinery and trucking equipment, including: 🔸 Pre-season and post-season machinery inspections 🔸 General maintenance and urgent repairs 🔸 Servicing across the John Deere, Fendt, Claas and New Holland fleet Mechanical work is mixed in throughout the year as needed, rather than blocked off into set periods. For example, you might spend a couple of weeks focused on machinery ahead of seeding, then move onto seeding itself for a stretch, then back onto the tools for harvest prep, and so on. The rest of the time you will assist across all other aspects of the farming system, including: 🔸 Machinery operation 🔸 Animal husbandry 🔸 Fencing 🔸 MC truck driving
