A well-established regional agribusiness located just five minutes out of Williams towards Narrogin, specialising in high quality sheep and cattle pellet production. The business has been operating for over 45 years and is known throughout the region for strong systems, consistent output and a people-first culture.
The operation is focused on doing things properly — safely, sustainably and to a high standard — with a genuine emphasis on developing their people for the long term. The General Manager has been with the business since 1983 and brings decades of operational knowledge and hands-on leadership that filters through the whole team.

⚙️ About the role
A full-time Mill Operator position working across the feed mill production plant. This is a practical, hands-on role where you'll be operating and maintaining equipment, keeping production running smoothly and holding a high standard across safety, quality and output.
Key duties include:
🔸 Operating pellet mills, mixers, grinders, conveyors and associated plant equipment
🔸 Monitoring production runs and adjusting equipment settings to maintain output quality and efficiency
🔸 Conducting routine pre-start checks, inspections and basic maintenance on plant equipment
🔸 Identifying and reporting faults, breakdowns or maintenance requirements promptly
🔸 Batching and weighing raw ingredients accurately in line with feed formulations
🔸 Operating front end loaders and forklifts for raw material and finished product handling
🔸 Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment at all times
🔸 Completing production records, shift logs and documentation accurately
🔸 Supporting the wider production team during peak periods and schedule changes
🔸 Working in line with all WHS, feed safety and quality procedures
This role suits a reliable, self-motivated operator who is comfortable working in a production environment, takes pride in the quality of their output and is looking for a place to build a long-term career.
✅ What you'll need
• Hands-on experience in a production, processing, milling or manufacturing environment
• Comfortable operating and monitoring industrial plant equipment
• Basic mechanical aptitude — ability to carry out minor maintenance and identify issues
• Forklift licence — desirable
• Front end loader experience — desirable
• Feed mill or pelletising experience — highly regarded but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety standards
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a small, close-knit team
• Willingness to get involved, learn and take on more responsibility over time
