Rare opportunity to join a progressive, family owned sheep operation during an exciting period of growth and expansion. Based in the Southern Wheatbelt near Narrogin, this is a hands-on livestock role within a well-run Merino enterprise actively growing its flock from 7,000 to 10,000 head.
🐏 About the role
A practical, hands-on livestock position working across all aspects of a Merino sheep operation. You'll be working closely with the Livestock Manager and owners on the day-to-day running of the flock.
🔸 General sheep husbandry and daily stock checks
🔸 Lambing, joining and marking
🔸 Animal health treatments and vaccinations
🔸 Stock movements and mustering
🔸 Feeding and water monitoring
🔸 Pasture and grazing management support
🔸 Yard work and handling
🔸 General farm duties and maintenance as required
🔸 Machinery operation as needed
✅ What you'll need
✔ Hands-on experience with sheep or livestock
✔ Good stock handling skills and practical mindset
✔ Reliable, hardworking and easy to work with
✔ Willing to turn your hand to whatever needs doing
✔ C Class manual licence essential
✔ Machinery experience viewed favourably
