AgRec is currently seeking a motivated and reliable all rounder to join a well established family run cropping, seed works and feed milling operation located in the heart of the Great Southern.

This is a unique mixed role offering excellent variety across modern broadacre farming, seed cleaning and processing, and mill operations. No two days will be the same. You will spend time operating modern machinery during seeding and harvest, while also playing an important role in the seed works and feed mill throughout the year.

🌾 ABOUT THE FARM

This is a busy and progressive farming business running a mixed cropping enterprise alongside an active seed cleaning and feed milling operation. The business supplies cleaned seed and poultry feed to local producers and operates modern machinery including John Deere equipment with Trimble GPS technology.

The team prides itself on maintaining a safe, organised and efficient workplace, while still keeping the friendly atmosphere of a family run operation.

🚜 ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is a hands on and varied role, perfect for someone who enjoys working both in the paddock and in operational facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating modern machinery during seeding and harvest
• Working within the seed cleaning plant, including bagging and packaging seed
• Assisting with grain cleaning and seed processing operations
• Operating the feed mill, mixing poultry rations and bagging 20kg feed bags
• Setting up, operating and maintaining plant equipment and machinery
• Assisting with truck coordination and weighing grain at the seed works
• Completing general farm maintenance and workshop duties

Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, with longer days during peak periods such as seeding and harvest.

✅ WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Previous farm hand or agricultural experience preferred
• HR licence required (MC licence highly desirable)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A willingness to learn new skills across different areas of the operation
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and reliability
