👥 About the roles
🤠 Station Manager
• Oversee day-to-day station operations, staff and contractors
• Lead all livestock management including breeding, health and turnoff
• Plan and execute mustering, branding, weaning and yard work
• Maintain and improve infrastructure including fencing and water systems
• Hands-on maintenance across plant, equipment and station assets
• Operate machinery and trucks as required
• Welding, fabrication and general workshop work
• Monitor and maintain solar and water infrastructure
• Record keeping including NLIS, NVDs and station reporting
• Work closely with owners on planning, budgeting and improvements
🏡 Partner Role
• Manage homestead including meals, cleaning and general upkeep
• Assist with station logistics, stores and basic administration
• Help coordinate staff and contractors
• Opportunity to assist with mustering, yard work and stock handling
• Maintain a well-run, organised and welcoming station environment
✅ What you'll need
• Experience on a pastoral cattle station in a senior hand or management capacity
• Strong livestock handling and stock sense
• Practical mechanical skills including welding, fabrication and repairs
• Confidence operating machinery and trucks — HR/MC highly regarded
• Experience with water systems including solar and windmills highly regarded
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on the go
• Leadership ability with a positive, team-first attitude
• Good record keeping and communication skills
