🌾 ABOUT THE STATION
196,000 ha breeding property running Droughtmaster, Santa Gertrudis and Charolais cross cattle supplying established feedlot programs across WA.
Property features include:
4 sets of steel cattle yards (all under cover)
60 waters (solar, dams, tanks, troughs, windmills)
Workshop, machinery sheds and hay storage
RFDS approved airstrip
Renovated, air conditioned homestead

🚜 ABOUT THE ROLE
Station Management (Lead Role)
Oversee day to day station operations, staff and contractors
Lead all livestock management including breeding, health and turnoff
Plan and execute mustering, branding, weaning and yard work
Maintain and improve infrastructure including fencing and water systems
Hands on maintenance across plant, equipment and station assets
Operate machinery and trucks as required
Welding, fabrication and general workshop work
Monitor and maintain solar and water infrastructure systems
Record keeping including NLIS, NVDs and station reporting
Work closely with owners on planning, budgeting and improvements
This role suits someone practical, switched on and hands on. Someone who leads from the front, is mechanically minded and takes pride in keeping a station running efficiently day to day.
💡 This role would suit an experienced station hand or couple ready to take the next step into management within a structured and supportive business.
🏡 Partner Role
A key role supporting both the homestead and wider station operations:
Manage homestead including meals, cleaning and general upkeep
Assist with station logistics, stores and basic administration
Help coordinate staff and contractors
Opportunity to assist with mustering, yard work and stock handling (depending on experience)
Maintain a well run, organised and welcoming station environment
✅ WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Experience on a pastoral cattle station in a senior hand or management capacity
Strong livestock handling and stock sense
Practical mechanical skills including welding, fabrication and repairs
Confidence operating machinery and trucks (HR/MC highly regarded)
Experience with water systems including solar and windmills highly regarded
Ability to work independently and solve problems on the go
Leadership ability with a positive, team first attitude
Good record keeping and communication skills
