ABOUT THE STATION

This is a well established 196,000 hectare breeding station running Droughtmaster, Santa Gertrudis and Charolais cross cattle, supplying feedlot operations across the Midwest.

The property is well set up with strong infrastructure and systems in place, including:

• 4 sets of covered steel cattle yards
• 60 waters including solar systems, dams, tanks, troughs and windmills
• Machinery sheds and workshop facilities
• RFDS approved airstrip
• Established and well maintained homestead

The business is part of a progressive WA cattle group focused on long term sustainability, herd performance and continual improvement.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands on cook and domestic position, where you will take responsibility for the homestead and daily living environment on station.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing daily meals for station staff and household
• Managing kitchen operations, food preparation and supplies
• Maintaining a clean, organised and well run homestead
• Laundry and general household upkeep
• Keeping lawns, gardens and surrounding areas well maintained
• Monitoring and maintaining basic homestead and water systems
• Supporting station operations and assisting where required

This role suits someone who takes pride in presentation, enjoys routine and responsibility, and values being part of a team environment.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

✔ Experience cooking for groups, stations or similar environments highly regarded
✔ Strong organisation and cleanliness standards
✔ Ability to work independently and take ownership of the role
